The Long Haul 100 in Lakeland, Florida, is a premier trail race held at Colt Creek State Park, featuring a 100-mile race and a shorter 100-furlong (12.5 miles) option. The 100-mile race consists of six loops of 16.7 miles each, with a 32-hour cutoff and three staffed aid stations. The course offers a scenic journey through Florida’s diverse ecosystem, where runners may encounter wildlife such as bald eagles, alligators, and deer.
