Louisburg Turkey Trot : basic information
The Louisburg Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Louisburg, NC 27549. The event is an inaugural 5K held at 203 W Nash St. The race will be timed by Run The East, LLC.
Course, fees and extras
The course runs through historic downtown Louisburg on paved, residential streets and is open to runners and walkers; leashed dogs are permitted. The entry fee is $27.50 per runner. A 20% discount applies to groups of 10 or more and to active military, veterans, and first responders. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for male and female finishers and for best costume. Registered participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt (registration by 11/3 guarantees a T-shirt), post-race refreshments, and a chance to win additional prizes.
