Lower Macungie Township Turkey Trot

The Lower Macungie Township Turkey Trot is a fourth-annual, community Thanksgiving running event in Macungie, Pennsylvania (7125 Scenic View Drive, Hills at Lockridge). It features a 5K Run/Walk and a Kids’ Fun Run, hosted by Lower Macungie Township and the residents of Stone Hill Meadows. Described as a not-timed, organized fun run to celebrate the holiday, with proceeds benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley.

Runners begin near the bandshell at Hills at Lockridge; a course map will be posted. Strollers are welcome, pets are not, and there’s an award for furthest traveled. Virtual shirt option available; shirts cost extra. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
