About the race
Lights in the Parkway 5K is a festive run/walk in Allentown, PA, held on the Lehigh Parkway the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. This 5K lets participants preview the Lights in the Parkway display up close as they move along the parkway, with hot chocolate and cookies waiting after finishing. Registration includes a long-sleeve event shirt (guaranteed for registrations by early November) and bib-name printing for those signed up by late October.
The event is capped at 1,200 runners and chip-timed by Second Wind Race Timing. Ornaments are awarded to the top 50 finishers in three categories. Parking is limited; makeup date 12/1/25 if needed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
