Event details
The Lights in the Parkway is a 5K held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, Pennsylvania (1680 Park Drive, Allentown, PA 18103). The event is listed as sold out and registration for the race is limited to 1,200 runners. Entry includes a long-sleeved event t-shirt and post-race hot chocolate and cookies. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations made by November 7. Race bibs can have the participant name printed if registered by October 30.
Logistics and results
The course is chip-timed by Second Wind Race Timing. Ornaments are awarded to the top 50 finishers in three categories - men, women, and kids 12 and under - and are given based on chip time; ornaments must be picked up after the race and will not be shipped. There is no parking inside the Parkway; vehicles must enter off Lehigh Street to Vultee and will be directed to park facing the same direction on both sides of the road. Participants should expect a walk from parking areas to the starting line. A rain/snow make-up date is planned for December 1, 2025, only if the city closes the park.
