St. Luke's D&L RaceFest

Event overview

St. Luke’s D&L RaceFest takes place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in the Lehigh Valley. Four events run into downtown Easton at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh rivers: a marathon, a five-person marathon relay, a half marathon run, and a half marathon walk. Marathon starts are in downtown Allentown and half marathon starts are in historic downtown Bethlehem. A post-race party is scheduled in downtown Easton.

Course, fields and registration

Most of the marathon and half marathon courses use the D&L Trail. The trail follows the Lehigh River and provides a net downhill profile with surfaces of fine gravel or macadam. Time limits are set for each distance: half marathon categories have a 4.5-hour limit, and the marathon has a 6.5-hour limit. Field limits and age minimums are specified: the half-marathon combined field limit is 1,350 with minimum age 14 (under 18 requires parental permission); the marathon is capped at 500 with minimum age 18; the marathon relay field is capped at 85 teams and captains must be 18. Relay teams arrange their own transportation to exchange points. Deadlines include personalized bibs by September 25 and guaranteed shirt size by October 6; registration closes November 2 or when fields sell out. Proceeds benefit the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization working on heritage, environmental programming, and D&L Trail development.
