The Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Albuquerque takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Mariposa Basin Park, 6401 Taylor Ranch NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. The event includes in-person and virtual options.

The course is described as flat and fast. Water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles.
Race features, registration and policies
All participants receive a race shirt and finisher medal; registrations completed by February 19 are guaranteed swag in the selected size. Awards include custom medals for Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 Masters Overall M/F (40+), Top 3 Grand Masters M/F (50+), Top 3 Senior Masters M/F (60+), and Top 3 M/F in standard five-year age groups from 10 & under through 80+.
Regular registration prices are listed as: 5K $35, 10K $45, Half Marathon $60, Virtual $35. Packet pickup is held race morning starting one hour prior to the start. All registrations are final - there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine; in extreme weather the event may be canceled with no refunds. Virtual packages are shipped the Monday after the event to continental US addresses and virtual finish times must be submitted by end of race day. Volunteers who recruit three others and complete volunteer duties may receive a $50 Visa gift card under the organizer’s conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
