Lunartic Run

The Lunartic 5K Run/Walk is a nighttime event held near a full moon along the scenic shoreline trails of Smithville Lake in Smithville, Missouri. This family-friendly, chip-timed race covers a 5K point-to-point course starting at the Smoke and Davey trailhead and finishing at Sailboat Cove. Participants are shuttled from the ample parking at the finish to the start line.

Runners are encouraged to bring a headlamp or flashlight due to darkness under the tree canopy. The event offers individual and team participation options, with proceeds benefiting the Smithville High School cross country team.
