Mackinac Island Eight Mile Run

The Mackinac Island Eight Mile Run & Walk, held on Mackinac Island, Michigan, is one of the state's oldest and most scenic races. Scheduled for early September 2025, participants run or walk the 8-mile perimeter of the island, enjoying stunning views of sparkling water, historic sites, and natural beauty. The island is unique, accessible only by ferry, with no motorized vehicles allowed, creating a nostalgic atmosphere where travel is by foot, bicycle, carriage, or horse.
