The Maple Valley Turkey Trot is a community 5K walk or trot held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Maple Valley, WA. This is the 7th annual running of the event. The race benefits the Maple Valley Food Bank. The distance is 5K. Registration has a price of $40. Participants who register by November 1 are guaranteed a race-day shirt; registrations after that date may not receive a shirt. Children in strollers are not required to register but will not receive shirts.
Logistics and rules
The route goes through Lake Wilderness Park and begins at the Beach House. The course surface is a mix of paved and gravel sections and is generally flat, with a slight incline to access the Green to Cedar River Trail from the arboretum. The event will not use chip timing. Jogging strollers are allowed; dogs are not allowed on the course except for service dogs; bikes are not permitted. Water stations will be located near the Beach House before and after the race. Advanced packet pickup is to be determined and there will be packet pickup on race day. Parking is available in the lower lots at Lake Wilderness Lodge near the arboretum; upper lots near the lodge may be closed for safety. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
