Mare Island Half Marathon
The Mare Island Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K is a scenic race event held entirely on Mare Island in Vallejo, California. Participants experience a unique course featuring waterfront views, historic naval sites, and a mix of paved and unpaved trails. The half marathon route includes highlights such as the historic naval yard, the island’s highest point with panoramic views of San Pablo Bay and nearby mountains, and the San Pablo Bay Trail.
The 10K and 5K courses offer scenic runs through the Admiral housing area and waterfront, with the 5K being beginner-friendly and stroller accessible. A kids’ 0.5K dash is also available.
