Event
The Maui Marathon weekend takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Ka'anapali and Lāhainā, Hawaii. The event is presented by The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Kaʻanapali and presented by the Valley Isle Road Runners. Start and finish are at the Ka'anapali Beach Resort area in front of the Outrigger Ka'anapali Beach Resort on Ka'anapali Parkway. The full marathon, half marathon and 10K use an out-and-back course on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30). The 5K course remains unchanged. Organizers note the full marathon course is flatter and offers ocean views along much of the route.

The Health & Fitness Expo is scheduled Friday and Saturday, April 24-25, 2026, at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa - Valley Isle Ballroom. Booth spaces are $400 each and are first-come, first-served; complimentary booths are available for Maui small businesses impacted by the 2023 fires and for nonprofit organizations. The event will use the HydraPak SpeedCup reusable cup at all aid stations instead of single-use paper or wax cups. Event shirts are ordered on March 15, 2026; after that date sizes are not guaranteed. Online registration closes April 13, 2026. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Virtual runners receive a shirt and medal after the event. Member discounts apply for certain local running clubs during checkout. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
