Event details
The Maui Marathon is scheduled for April 26, 2026 in Lāhainā, HI. The start and finish are at Ka'anapali Beach Resort, in front of the Outrigger Ka'anapali Beach Resort. The event is presented by The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Kaʻanapali and organized by the Valley Isle Road Runners. Event categories include:

Event t-shirts will be ordered on March 15, 2026; online registration closes on April 13, 2026. Virtual runners will receive a shirt and medal after the event.
Race courses and event services
The Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K will use an out-and-back course on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30). The 5K course remains unchanged from previous years. The event will use reusable HydraPak SpeedCups at aid stations to replace single-use cups.
A Health & Fitness Expo will be held at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa - Valley Isle Ballroom on April 24-25, 2026. Exhibit booth spaces are $400 each; complimentary booths are available for Maui small businesses affected by the 2023 fires and for nonprofit organizations. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; event insurance may be purchased during online registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
