Megan's Mission Run

The Mission 5k Run is a charity race held in Coal City, Illinois, at Babe's Tap (515 S. Broadway). It offers a 5k Run/Walk and a Virtual 5k.

Proceeds support a childhood cancer advocacy and research foundation dedicated to ending childhood cancer, including funding for a rhabdomyosarcoma research laboratory at the Children’s Cancer Therapy Development Institute. To date, the foundation has raised over $2.5 million for promising research. All participants receive a race t-shirt, guaranteed to registrants by August 30.
