About the race
Melon Dash offers 10K, 5K, and a Fun Run at Little Elm Park in Little Elm, Texas. The 2026 edition relocates to a lakeside setting with brand-new 10K and 5K courses and ample parking, plus a family-friendly after-party. Runners finish to an awards ceremony, sponsor village, and refreshments including ice-cold watermelon and beer for ages 21+.
The event features a Watermelon Eating Contest and a vibrant post-race atmosphere. Swag includes a custom short-sleeve tech shirt, a finisher medal, and race bib. Virtual option available; discounts for groups and certain age groups.
