Mercier Orchards Spiked Apple 5k
The Mercier Orchards Spiked Apple 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, GA (8660 Blue Ridge Drive, 30513). The event offers an in-person 5K Run/Walk, a Volunteer and Run option, and a virtual participation option with packet shipping available. The race is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online.
Event details
The course is a scenic tour of Mercier Orchards and includes a mix of roads and trails. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, a homemade cider donut, and a pour of cider (ID required for 21+ beverages). Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib; those minors do not receive the cider glass or pour.
Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in ten-year categories from 1-9 up to 80 & Over. Packet pickup is available the day before at Mercier Orchards and on race day. The event will go on rain or shine; in severe weather the director may delay the event and will send email notification. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground.
