Mercier Orchards Winter Wine Run 5k
The event is a chip-timed 5k held at Mercier Orchards, 8660 Blue Ridge Drive, Blue Ridge, GA, on December 6, 2025. The course is a scenic tour of the orchard and uses a mix of roads and trails; it is described as suitable for both walkers and runners. Timing and results are managed by J3 Timing and results will be posted online. The event names Nik's Wish as its charity partner.
Registration, awards and logistics
Standard registration includes a T-shirt (option to upgrade to a long sleeve for an additional $5), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine-glass-shaped finisher medal, and a chip-timed race bib; a pour of wine is included for eligible participants. Minors receive a discounted registration and do not receive wine; children in strollers can participate for free and do not need to register. Dogs are not permitted on site due to USDA regulations. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each 10-year category and must be claimed on the day of the event; awards are not shipped. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Mercier Orchards, with race day pickup also available. A virtual participation option is offered, including packet shipment for an additional fee. Free race photos are posted online after the event.
