Mermaid Triathlon & Duathlon Capitola

The Mermaid Triathlon & Duathlon Capitola, held at Capitola Beach, California, is California's longest-running women's triathlon, celebrating its 21st year in 2025. The event features multiple race options including Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlons, Duathlon, Aquabike, a 5K fun run, and virtual participation. The course offers an ocean swim around the wharf, a scenic bike ride along rolling coastal terrain, and a run on the ocean bluff overlooking Capitola Village.
