Event overview
The Merry Mitchmas 5K & 10K takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Edmond, Oklahoma (1501 W Covell Road, 73003). The event is organized by Red Coyote Running & Fitness and supports the Homeless Alliance. The race includes in-person and virtual options plus a kids dash and pushchair categories.

The organizer is collecting gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and requests new, packaged underwear and socks for men and women as part of a coat and winter gear drive.
Course and logistics
The course is a clockwise loop of the Mitch Park Rec Trail. The 5K completes one lap and the 10K completes two laps. The terrain is described as gently rolling. The 1/2 mile kids dash is an out-and-back route that is flat.
Packet pick up is available at Red Coyote store locations on the days before and the day of the event at the Oklahoma City and Edmond stores. Participants are asked to park in the primary lot on the west side of the ball fields; secondary and overflow parking is available in other nearby lots but access and exits may be restricted during the run. Timing uses MyLaps bib tag timing with live online results; event photos are provided by Okie Pics. Optional race insurance is offered during registration through a third party.
