Red Coyote Half Marathon
The Red Coyote Half Marathon is an annual running event held in downtown Oklahoma City, starting and finishing at Scissortail Park. The 13.1-mile course features scenic views as runners cross the iconic Skydance Bridge and traverse the Oklahoma River Trails, including both upper and lower park areas. The route is mostly flat with gentle rolling terrain, suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities.
The event offers multiple race options including a half marathon, pushchair half marathon, virtual half marathon, and a 5K run. Proceeds benefit Course For Change, a mentoring program for at-risk youth. The race emphasizes community spirit, with aid stations, live timing, and a post-race celebration.
