Event overview
The Monster Dash To End Domestic Violence is a Halloween-themed awareness run held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The event is the fourth annual edition and features a 5K race. Participants 12 and under run free. Registration fees are $25 per person through October 5, 2025; late registration is $30 through October 25, 2025. Runners who register before October 10, 2025 will receive a race-day t-shirt due to printing deadlines.
Logistics and course
The event takes place at Severns Valley Baptist Church, 1100 Ring Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. Packet pickup is on race morning in the church parking lot near the start and finish area. Online and cash registrations are accepted, and social teams with at least five members receive a $5 discount and are eligible for special team awards.
The course begins in the back of the church parking lot, circles the property, then exits the back gate onto Robinbrooke Boulevard. Runners proceed about 1/2 mile down Robinbrooke, then turn around and follow the route in reverse back to the finish. Directional arrows will mark the course. Water and snacks are available at the start and finish, and a hydration station is located near the course 1-mile and 2-mile points. Awards include top three overall male and female, age-group winners, best-dressed team and runner, and oldest and youngest finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
