Event overview
The Monte Vista Historical Association 5K Fun Run & Walk is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025. The event is the 2nd annual edition and is a 5K run/walk that starts and ends at Landa Library in the Monte Vista Historic District of San Antonio. The course runs through a historic neighborhood with homes built between 1890 and 1930. The course layout has been updated for this year with clearer signage and a clock at the start/finish.
Location, registration and other details
Place: 233 Bushnell Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78212. Early registration is listed at $25 and includes a swag item and a bib; swag items are guaranteed for registrations completed before October 1 and distributed based on availability on race day. Day-of registration is $35 and includes a bib. Registration closes on November 7, 2025. After the run/walk, activities on the grounds of Landa Library include kids activities, a holiday market, food trucks and music from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Awards are planned for overall and age-group winners (youth, adult, senior) by gender, and for the first dog and the first stroller to cross the finish line.
