Event overview
The Moonlight 5K and Twilight Kids Run presented by Brooks takes place at the Harford County Equestrian Center in Bel Air, Maryland on July 11, 2026. The event includes an in-person 5K, a Twilight Kids Run for children, and a virtual 5K option. The 5K course runs through the equestrian center grounds, loops around a former duck pond, then goes out-and-back toward Annie's Playground. Paths are mostly paved with some boardwalks and a small gravel section. There is one water stop near Mile 1 that is passed again later. The course is subject to change and boardwalks may be slippery when wet. Moonlight 5K entries include chip timing, a Brooks tech shirt, a finisher medal, glow sticks, and post-race food plus one complimentary beer (21+) or a Kona Ice. Twilight Kids Run participants receive a finisher medal or ribbon, a race bib, chip-timed results, two glow sticks, and a Kona Ice coupon. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers, and to top three male and female finishers in listed age groups. Packet pickup is available the day before at Charm City Run - Bel Air and on race day at the equestrian center. Event guidelines prohibit strollers, skates, bikes, and pets on the course.
