Moonlight On Mt Ascension Trail Run

The Moonlight on Mt. Ascension Trail Run is a unique nighttime ultramarathon held in Helena, Montana, organized by the Helena Ultra Runners League (HURL). Participants complete as many 11.57-mile loops as possible within a 12-hour window, starting at 8:00 p.m.

and finishing at 8:00 a.m. the next day. The course features a modified figure-eight loop on Helena’s South Hills trails, with significant elevation gain and challenging terrain, including rocks and wildlife encounters.
