Event overview
The Annual Trail Challenge is a yearly running and hiking event held at Mount Agamenticus in York, Maine. The next edition is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 (Year 10). The event offers timed and untimed participation and uses manual timing with stop watches provided by a local high school cross country team. There are no traditional age category prizes; a raffle is held for participants. Funds raised support Mount Agamenticus conservation and education efforts. Volunteers are needed for event-day and lead-up tasks.

The course overlaps slightly before the connection to Witch Hazel trail and finishes at the start area.
The 1 Mile starts at the center platform, follows the universal access trail around the inner loop, then the outer perimeter, and finishes near the pollinator garden. Course maps for both distances are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
