Mt Ashland Hill Climb : event overview
The Mt Ashland Hill Climb takes place in Ashland, Oregon on June 7, 2026. The event offers hike and mountain bike options and an uphill running option listed at 13.3–13.5 miles. Registration opens January 1, 2026. The event starts in Lithia Park (about 1,900 ft) and finishes at the Mt Ashland summit (about 7,500 ft).
Course and logistics
The uphill route gains over 1 mile of elevation. The course follows local singletrack and fire roads from town to the summit and includes four staffed aid stations. Race fees normally include a race shirt (not guaranteed for late registrants), plus lunch and beer at the finish. Youth athletes under 18 receive a reduced registration fee. Shirts are more likely to be available if registration is completed by May 1; fees increase after May 8. If the event is canceled, registrations can be rolled over to the next year rather than refunded. Proceeds benefit local nonprofits: Ashland Woodland and Trails Association (AWTA), Ashland DEVO, and the Rogue Valley Mountain Bike Association (RVMBA).
