Southern Oregon Runners Turkey Trot Run
The Southern Oregon Runners Turkey Trot Run takes place on November 27, 2025, in Talent, Oregon at Cummins, 300 W Valley View Rd. The event includes the following race distances and categories:
- 8 Mile Run
- 5k Run/Walk
- 2 Mile Family Run/Walk
- Turkey Dash Kids Run (8 and under)
The event hosts a food drive for the SOU food bank. A portion of proceeds supports SOR Student Runners Programs, including Shoes for Kids, KidsRunFree, and the XC Project.
Registration and race details
Entry fees are $15 for members and $20 for non-members; youth 18 and under enter free. Family pricing is available for families and extended family visiting for the holidays. Packet pick-up and registration are available on November 26 from 3:30 to 8:00 pm at Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse, 245 W Valley View, Talent, Oregon, and also on race morning from 7:00 to 8:00 am. No day-of registration will be offered.
Participants receive a custom race bib and a finishers medal. There are no age-group awards. Dogs, bikes, skateboards, and skates are not permitted. Races use public roads and trails that are not closed to vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists; participants should use caution on public roadways and paths.
