Course and logistics
The route passes through Starkville's Historic District, the downtown area, and the Cotton District. The race is not chip timed. Early packet pickup is offered for pre-registered participants at the museum, and packet pickup is also available at the race site on race day. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed, but the course has some small hills. Water will be available at the start and finish areas only; there are no water stations along the course. Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers and to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in these age categories: 17 and under; 18-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50+.
