The Frostbite

THE FROSTBITE Race Presented by Chick-Fil-A Starkville is a long-running winter running event in Starkville, Mississippi. Dating back over four decades, it draws runners from the area for a chilly, community-focused morning. The course starts and finishes on Main Street and weaves through the Cotton District, the Mississippi State University campus, and Starkville’s Historic District.

It offers three distances: half marathon, 10K, and 5K, welcoming intermediate and recreational runners and families. Participants benefit from chip timing, custom medals, moisture-wicking shirts, and other swag. The event is organized with local sponsors and emphasizes participant experience and community involvement.
