Clear Creek Ultra
The Clear Creek Ultra is a looped trail ultra held on private single-track trails near Crystal Springs, Mississippi. The course is a one-mile loop with creek crossings and hills. Participants must self-report loop totals in UltraSignup; a race clock will be provided and the event uses a 10-hour time limit. One aid station at the start/finish will offer water, Tailwind, and food. Camping and on-site parking are available; registration is listed at $25 and covers basic amenities. The event does not provide shirts, place awards, or refunds.
Frosty 15
Frosty 15 is an out-and-back trail race on the Yockanookany section of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail in Madison, Mississippi. The course runs from the West Florida Boundary trailhead (milepost 107.9) north to Highway 43 and back. The event offers both 15.5 mile and 15K options. Details: the race is chip timed with a five-hour time limit. There are two aid stations (mile 2.75 and mile 7.7) stocked with water, Tailwind, fruit, and sweet/salty food. This is a cupless event; runners must carry a water bottle or hydration pack. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race.
Fondren Urban Ultra
The Fondren Urban Ultra is a 12-hour timed road event run on a USATF-certified 3.1 mile (5k) loop in the Fondren neighborhood of Jackson, Mississippi, with loops starting and finishing at Fondren Church (3327 Old Canton Rd.). One aid station at the start/finish provides water, Tailwind, and food. The race is chip timed; runners must check in each lap and complete a full 5k lap for it to count. The certified loop is used to record Mississippi state ultra records.
Big Butts
