MUTS Running - Big Butts

The Big Butts race, hosted by the Mississippi Ultra and Trail Society (MUTS), takes place in Jackson, MS, at the Mississippi College Choctaw Trails pavilion. This trail event offers multiple distances: 100K, 100K relay, 50K, and a returning 25K Fun Run. The course features 7.75-mile loops on shaded single-track trails with moderate elevation gain, combining cross country and Butts Park trails.

Despite a non-technical course, the July heat and humidity add to the challenge. Aid stations provide water, sports drinks, and food.
