The NAWIC PAVING THE WAY 5K Run takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in El Paso, TX. The race starts and finishes at Up and Running, 3233 N. Mesa, El Paso 79902. The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Walk
Course maps are available for the 5K and the 1 Mile route.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Early registration is $30 through February 27, 2026; late registration on February 28 and March 1 is $35. Early packet pickup is scheduled at Up and Running (3233 N. Mesa Ste. 205) on February 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Race-day packet pickup is planned the morning of the event.
The first 300 registered participants will receive short sleeve T-shirts. Custom finisher medals are available to the first 300 finishers. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group awards go to the top three male and female finishers in these groups: 9 & under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+. A trophy is planned for the largest team.
