Registration for the event opens on November 11, 2025. Packet pickup and early check-in are available the week of the race at Project ECHO Homeless Shelter, 484 Main St., Prince Frederick, MD 20678. Race entries include a custom race shirt, a custom finisher medal, real-time results, and access to the Finish-line Festival.

The event names Project ECHO and the Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum as race beneficiaries. Project ECHO provides emergency shelter and supportive housing in Calvert County. The Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum support educational programming and free events such as Discovering Archaeology Day, Children's Day on the Farm, and American Indian Heritage Day.
