Nevada Day Classic : November 1, 2025

The Nevada Day Classic is an annual road race in downtown Carson City, Nevada. The 2025 edition is the 36th running of the event, held on the Nevada Day weekend and organized by the Tahoe Mountain Milers in partnership with Guide Dogs For The Blind and other local partners. Distances offered:

  • 2 Miler

All participants receive a custom wooden medal. Costumes are encouraged. Net proceeds will go to Guide Dogs For The Blind. The field is capped at 550 runners. Registration closes on October 29. There are no refunds, but entries may be transferred to the next year.

Course and race logistics

The start and finish are located on Curry Street at McFadden Square. The event uses road courses through the west historic side of Carson City; dogs are not allowed on course per the event permit. Packet pickup is scheduled for October 31 at the Brewery Arts Center, with race day packet pickup and registration at McFadden Square. Registration is available at packet pickup and on race day; organizers will accept credit or debit cards only for onsite payments. Course descriptions note the 8K and 2-mile routes follow specific streets through the West Side neighborhood and return to Curry Street for the finish.
