Paint it Pink 5k

The Paint it Pink 5k Fun Run/Walk is held in Gardnerville, Nevada, starting and finishing at Heritage Park. This event is part of the "We Run This Town" series and features a scenic course along the Martin Slough trail. Participants are encouraged to wear pink to support cancer awareness, with $5 from each registration donated to local cancer treatment centers, Carson Valley Health and Carson Tahoe Health.

The race offers categories for runners aged 10 and under (free), 11 and up, and a virtual option. Dogs on leashes are welcome, and all finishers receive medals, with trophies for the top three finishers. The event supports the revitalization of downtown Gardnerville.
