Kokanee Trail Runs

Kokanee Trail Runs, held in the Lake Tahoe Basin near South Lake Tahoe, California, features a half-marathon, 5K, 10K, and a Tadpole Trot for kids along Fallen Leaf Lake and a sweeping route over Tahoe Mountain for the half-marathon. The event is RRCA-sanctioned and renowned for its scenic courses and fall colors, with post-race refreshments and unique finisher awards in each gender/age division. New in 2025 is a sustainably made, long-sleeve event shirt from recycled materials.

The weekend also hosts Camp Richardson’s Oktoberfest, adds a family-friendly atmosphere, and benefits Nevada Humane Society and Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
