Warrior Way 5K

Warrior Way 5K is a community trail race hosted by George Whittell High School’s Student Council in Zephyr Cove, Nevada (240 Warrior Way), scheduled for September 28, 2025. The event features a 5K trail run through pine forests near Lake Tahoe, including crossings of creeks and logs over rocky terrain. The course is nature-focused and stroller-unfriendly; pets are not allowed.

A separate 800‑meter Warrior Dash Fun Run invites kids, with all finishers receiving a prize and popsicles. The day celebrates student organizers and sponsors, with student-designed t‑shirts sold separately, and medals awarded to finishers with hot chocolate for participants and community pride.
