Warrior Way 5K

The Warrior Way 5K is a trail running event held at George Whittell High School in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, surrounded by scenic pine forests overlooking Lake Tahoe. Organized by the school's Student Council, the race features a 5K course that crosses creeks and logs, winding through natural terrain with trees, rocks, and wildlife. In addition to the main 5K, there is an 800-meter fun run for children, with popsicles for all finishers.

The event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages, offering medals, hot chocolate, and a friendly atmosphere. T-shirts designed by students are available for purchase separately. Pets and strollers are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
