New Year's Day 10k

The 2026 New Year's Day 10k is part of a multi-distance event held at Pratt Park in historic Fredericksburg, VA. The race features a paved, fairly flat course with minimal hills, where the 10k consists of running the 5k out-and-back route twice. The event welcomes runners, walkers, strollers, and includes a kid’s one-mile race, making it family-friendly.

Participants receive a finisher’s medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing. The race supports the charity Furnish A Home Again. A virtual race option is also available for those unable to attend in person.
