Event overview
The Amica Newport Marathon is scheduled for October 11, 2026 and will be the 17th running of the event. The weekend includes both a full marathon and a half marathon.

Both courses are USATF-certified and the marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The start and finish are at Easton’s Beach. The route goes through Newport and Middletown and passes historic mansions, waterfront areas, and sandy beaches. Medals are given to all finishers of the marathon and half marathon. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers and to top three finishers in each listed age group.
Logistics and services
Packet pick-up is available on the days before the race and limited pick-up is available on race day at Easton’s Beach East Parking Lot; all participants must show a photo ID. There is no parking at the start and finish; designated parking locations are used with shuttle service to the start. Marathon parking is at Second Beach in Middletown and half-marathon parking is at Aquidneck Corporate Park in Middletown. Gear bag drop is provided near the Beach Pavilion at Easton’s Beach. Live runner tracking and split times are available through the event tracking service. MarathonFoto will provide race photos. A portion of each entry is donated to nonprofits; the event has raised over $600,000 for charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
