No Man's Land Trail Run
The No Man's Land Trail Run takes place at Sam Houston Jones State Park near Lake Charles, Louisiana. It offers three distances: 50K, 25K, and a 7.78-mile looped course. The trail features an 8-mile loop around the park's perimeter, mostly on technical single-track trails with roots, twists, turns, water crossings, and rolling hills totaling about 125 feet of elevation gain per loop.
The course is well-marked with flags and arrows. New in 2025 is a "No-Medal" registration option and an 8-mile ruck division supporting first responders. The event embraces a friendly atmosphere with aid stations, awards for top finishers, and a unique historical theme tied to the area's "No Man's Land" heritage.
