Noonday Shanty 5&10K
The Noonday Shanty 5&10K is a road and trail running event held on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The event features two certified race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
Both races start and finish at Town Center at Cobb Mall. Courses are USA Track & Field certified and run on a paved mix of Noonday Creek Trail and roadway.
Event details
The course passes local landmarks and natural areas, including Noonday Creek, Aviation Park, Cobb International Airport, Fifth Third Bank Stadium, wetlands and bird habitats, and the Chimney Swift Tower. Registration supports greenspace and trail projects in the Town Center area and the event benefits the Town Center Community Alliance. Team registration is available and a race T-shirt is included with registration.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Big Peach Running, 1625 Ridenour Boulevard, Kennesaw, GA 30152. The event is professionally managed and timed by Start2Finish Event Management and serves as an official qualifying event for the Peachtree Road Race.
