About the race
NorCal Spartan Event Weekend takes place at Mahon Ranch in Elk Grove, just outside Sacramento. The event offers multiple race distances: a Sprint 5K with 20 obstacles, a Super 10K with 25 obstacles, and a Kids Race 1–3 km with obstacles, on Aug 29–30, 2026. The course runs through rolling farmland with cold river crossings and signature Spartan obstacles like Atlas Carry, Fire Jump, Rope Climb, Spear Throw, and Multi-Rig.
