Norfolk Land Trust Trail Race Series

The Norfolk Land Trust Trail Race Series, including the Haystack Mountain Challenge, is held annually in Norfolk, Connecticut. The 12th edition features three trail race distances: a challenging 5K through Barbour Woods with scenic climbs and wetlands; a 10K that adds a tough loop summiting Haystack Mountain, part of the USATF-CT MUT Grand Prix; and a grueling half marathon with over 2000 feet of elevation gain, incorporating private trails and two ascents of Haystack Mountain. The event offers a rugged, scenic course with a mix of single and double track trails, carriage roads, and woodland paths.
