Purpose and details
Proceeds from the race benefit the Coconut Creek Police Department Explorer Program. The program provides students ages 14 to 18 with experience and training related to careers in law enforcement. Funds will be used for uniforms, equipment, trips, regional competitions and supplies. The event lists a fundraising goal of $5,000.
Awards will recognize overall and age-group winners, and there are awards for top first responders. The first 130 finishers will receive a medal. All runners receive a swag bag with a dri-fit logo shirt. Race day registration and packet pick up are available on race day. Registration fees are tiered and increase closer to the event.
