The North Dakota Santa Run takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Mandan, ND at 411 West Main St., 58554. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Adult (13+)
- 5K Youth (Ages 5 - 12)
Registration fees listed for the events are $37 for the adult 5K and $28 for the youth 5K. Prices increase after November 15, 2025.
Background and beneficiaries
The event began as the Bismarck Santa Run and grew from a running group formed in April 2014 called Runners Against Destructive Decisions (RADD). RADD meets weekly and supports people in active recovery through group running and fellowship. In 2024 the event’s organization moved to the Mandan Progress Organization (MPO). Participants traditionally wear Santa suits during the 5K. Proceeds from the run benefit Hope Manor, a recovery-based housing and support program for people overcoming addiction.
