About the race
North Peoria Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning running event in Peoria, Arizona, held at Paloma Park (29799 N Lake Pleasant Parkway). The race offers a timed 5K Run/Walk and an untimed 1 Mile option, both starting and finishing at Paloma Park and featuring a gravel trail out-and-back for the 5K. The event takes place rain or shine, with no refunds.
Proceeds support extracurricular programs that provide confidence-building opportunities for teens. All participants registered by the early deadline receive a t-shirt; late registrations are while supplies last. New this year: a drive collecting new teen underwear for local youth.
