North Point Fright Night 5K & Haunted Trail

North Point Fright Night 5K & Haunted Trail is a Halloween-themed community event at North Point High School in Waldorf, Maryland, on October 25, 2025. The day features a 5K on the school’s official cross-country course (certified for competition) with three race waves: Elite, Middle School & Younger, and Open/Family. After the run, participants gain access to the Trail of Lost Runners Past, a quarter-mile haunted trail behind the school designed with professional designers.

Proceeds benefit the North Point Track & Field Team. Registration includes a souvenir T-shirt and medals; trail-only tickets are available, with sponsor booths and food on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
