The NYCRUNS Central Park Half marathon is scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Central Park, New York, NY. The event is organized by NYCRUNS and is presented as an annual half marathon. Results will be emailed to participants and posted online. Awards are offered to the top three overall finishers in the male, female, and non-binary divisions (gun time), plus age-group awards for the top three in each listed age bracket.
Course, logistics and policies
The course starts on West Drive near 93rd Street, proceeds downtown, crosses the 72nd Street Transverse, turns uptown over Harlem Hill, completes two and a half loops of the park, and finishes on the 102nd Street Transverse. All NYCRUNS courses are USATF-certified. Start corrals are pace-based (letters AA-F) and located on Well House Drive.
On-course and post-race amenities include water and electrolyte fluids, cans of smartwater at the finish, portable bathrooms, bagels with schmear and fresh fruit, a finisher medal, and an official race shirt (shirt sizes are not guaranteed). Bag check requires a single clear bag. Bibs are distributed from the Festival Area near the 102nd Street Crossing by the North Meadow ballfields; members may have bibs mailed under specific conditions. Prize money is available with time standards and membership and verification requirements; prizes are paid for first through tenth place. The event policy notes no refunds or transfers, strollers and dogs are not allowed, earbuds that hinder awareness may lead to disqualification, and participants must remain on pace to receive course support and an official time.
