OAT Run
The OAT Run is a trail running event held in Port Angeles, Washington, on the Olympic Adventure Trail. It features three race distances: a point-to-point 12K, a half marathon, and an out-and-back 50K, all on single-track trails traversing Kelly Ridge between Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The course offers lush forests, moss, ferns, towering evergreens, and scenic views of the Elwha River Valley and Olympic Mountains.
The event limits 130 runners per distance and includes well-marked courses, hydration stations, chip timing, shuttle service, race photos, and a festive after-party with food, drinks, door prizes, and a beer garden supporting a local nonprofit. The race promotes sustainability by being cupless and supports local trail organizations through donations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
