Ocracoke Island 5K Turkey Trot
The Ocracoke Island 5K Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 27, 2025, in Ocracoke, NC 27960. The event begins at 1718 Brewery, 1129 Irvin Garrish Hwy, and the course goes through Ocracoke Village. This is the 11th annual running of the event and it will be a timed 5K.
There are two event options: an in-person 5K Turkey Trot and a Virtual 5K Turkey Trot. The in-person 5K has an entry fee of $35. Registration for the in-person event closes November 26, 2025 at 4:15 PM EST. All participants receive a shirt and a medal. Virtual participants will be mailed their shirt and medal.
