Ocracoke Island Turkey Trot

The Ocracoke Island 5K Turkey Trot is an annual running event held in Ocracoke, North Carolina, on Thanksgiving Day. Participants can run, walk, or stroll through the scenic Ocracoke Village, starting at 1718 Brewery on Irvin Garrish Highway. This fun and relaxed 5K race is now officially timed and offers all finishers a commemorative shirt and medal.

For those unable to attend in person, a virtual 5K option is available, with race swag mailed to participants.
