About the race
The 14th Annual Surfin' Turkey 5K and Puppy Drum Fun Run takes place in Hatteras, North Carolina. The Surfin' Turkey 5K follows a beautiful course through the historic fishing village, while the Puppy Drum Fun Run covers 1/4 mile for children 12 and under. This non-timed, family-friendly charity event supports the Hatteras Island Youth Education Fund (HIYEF), with a pancake breakfast and awards ceremony after the race.
One water station is available on the course. Strollers are welcome; slower runners should start at the back. Bikes, e-bikes, scooters, and skates are not permitted.
