Event overview
The ODO Gobbler Run & Ruck takes place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in South Glastonbury, CT (275 Dug Rd, 06073). The event, organized by Open Doors Outdoors, is an off-road course through local farm lands that begins and ends at Hops on the Hill Brewery. Available race options include:

Logistics and extras
Entry pricing is shown on the event pages (example listed as $43.40, incl. fees); prices increase after November 21, 2025. Participants who register by November 15 are guaranteed a wood-composite chili bowl from Maple Origins and a finisher's patch (ruck) or medal (run). Lil’ Gobblers activity programming is available for children aged 4+; a kids activity fee is listed in event details. Packet pick-up is available Friday, November 28 at Marathon Sports in Glastonbury.
The event includes a finish-line party with bowls of chili (meat and vegetarian options), s'mores, and beverages from Hops on the Hill Brewery with non-alcoholic choices. The race is professionally timed; top three male and female finishers in each event receive pies from Lyman Orchards and overall winners receive ODO swag. Teams with the most registrations can win pairs of adidas shoes. Ruck participants are asked to consider donating canned goods or peanut butter for Veterans Basecamp’s food pantry.
