Oglesby Turkey Trot
The 47th Annual Oglesby Turkey Trot is a 3-mile run/walk held in Oglesby, Illinois, starting and finishing at the Elks Lodge on East Walnut Street. Scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, this event offers a festive atmosphere with post-race refreshments including free beer (for those 21+), soda, and traditional Thanksgiving dressing. Participants receive a commemorative stocking cap, and there are age group awards for both males and females across various categories.
